Recently, the RIM Emergency Drought Network (VIC) has been introduced to allow additional access at up to 84 tonnes for eligible road trains carrying hay & fodder into Victoria, meeting the following access conditions outlined by the NHVR.

To access the network, eligible Operators must conform with the requirements specified within this NHVR information sheet and permit, including the installation of vehicle tracking for RIM telematics.
