The Department of Transport, Victoria, introduces the TMA Road Train Monitoring Scheme (VIC), designed to facilitate eligible vehicles' access to approved routes within Victoria's road train network. Specifically developed for road trains operating at Higher Mass Limits (HML), this scheme serves as a crucial tool for monitoring and managing the movement of these vehicles on designated routes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and enhancing the efficiency of the Victorian road network.
Operate a Road Train at Higher Mass Limits (HML) Victoria.
TMA is a requirement for all eligible vehicles of this scheme.
Eligible Vehicles:
Up to 36.5m Type 1 A-Double Road Train, as specified in the National Class 2 Road Train Authorisation Notice.

Eligible Vehicles:
Type 1 Road Trains which include A-Doubles, B-Triples, Modular B-Triples, A-Triples, AB-Triples, including combination fitted with tri-axle dolly.
